not working, when I invert the colors the image only changes black to green

Doesn't work. I've been using Photoshop for over 20years and they always find a way to screw things up with every new version. Hitting X would always swap between foreground and background but not anymore in version 25.

This is how to make UA-cam content. Say what needs to be said, but not more. And say it, don't use a damn text to speech app. I figured Adobe would have spell check buried in the menu's. In Illustrator it's basically the same Edit > Spelling > Check Spelling, but the AI hotkey for it (CTRL+I) doesn't exist in Photoshop because there CTRL+I is used for Image Adjustments > Invert.

in Edit/fill step, fill is grayed out.

Got here by searching how to flatten just a single layer. LOTs of people searching this! I'm assuming it's not possible. I'll just select and mask and create a new document and then bring back in. what a pain. EDIT: Re-wording.. My doc has multiple layers. I selected and masked a small area of my document and created a new "layer" from my selection. I'm searching for the most efficient way to merge all the layers expressed in my "selection". And can I avoid having to sample each layer one at a time before I can then merge all the results? Note: I don't want to flatten the entire document, just my "selection".

What would you do if half of the image needed to be straightened? Say someone took a picture of a document and there was a fold down the middle so the left half is flat, but the right half was kind of tilted up? How would you straighten the right side?
